![]() I have grown up in Europe and the Middle East and as such am predisposed to consider ideas in a manner that is quite different from our American cousins across the pond. I am not from the USA and I have never lived in the USA. ![]() Allen continues by describing the peril that ensues when one entertains/accommodates non-biblical visions for society and expresses his dismay and how this tendency is making inroads to what has been traditionally held to be solid institutions for evangelicals such as Christianity Today or The Gospel Coalition. ![]() He then contrasts this worldview with his “Biblical Worldview” answering the questions of what is ultimately real? Who are we? What is our fundamental Problem as Human beings, What is the solution to our problem? How can we be saved? What is our primary moral duty? How do we know what is true? Who has ultimate authority? Is there a future, final judgment? (Allen, 2020, 56-58). He describes this “Marxism 2.0” (Allen, 2020, 49) as being the bitter fruit of post-modernism where the oppressed masses are rising up to challenge the so-called evil forces of capitalism, property owners, the patriarchy, white men, Judeo-Christian morality, Orthodox Christians, Jews, and sexual traditionalists. Allen goes on to expand on this, mapping out the ideological routes of the new worldview that Christians are up against today. ![]()
